SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Youth and family meet with a counselor to talk about concerns and problems. Youth are often referred to suitable services in the community to further aid the child in resolving his or her difficulties.

SERVICE SUMMARY:The Office of Youth Services (OYS) began in 1971 as a court diversion program. Now it handles a variety of activities and a number of programs. OYS works everyday with troubled youth and their families to prevent crime and violence among youth while being a voice for youth as individuals and in public policy.
